Live Music With Madonna Gordon

Madonna Gordon is a jazz vocalist and bassist who can be heard in and around the Upper Valley of Vermont and New Hampshire with various musicians and small groups. Her main joy is in making music that speaks to the spirit, and brings people into a space where they can set aside their cares and differences and simply have a good time.

She got her start in music very early on playing piano and singing in multiple choirs and ensembles. In college she discovered her love for jazz, gospel, and blues, which led her eventually to pick up the bass (much later on!) and tackle jazz from the instrumental side.

She has been fortunate to be active with the local Interplay Jazz and Arts community (interplayjazzandarts.org), through whom she has studied voice with Madeline Kole (madelinekole.com) and furthered her bass playing.
